Puzzle Parking At Its Best: Wohr Combilift Series

WOHR offers a variety of puzzle parking solutions and celebrates a success story that goes back decades. Since WOHR installed its first Combilift in 1988, the puzzle car parking system technology has been continually optimized and developed in parallel with the technical progress made in recent decades.

Operating Concepts

The Combilift is a semi-automatic, space-saving puzzle car parking system that provides convenient parking in the tightest of spaces by stacking vehicles and moving them closer together.

All Combilifts are available for vehicles up to 2.6t. Depending on the system configuration, the Combilift can accommodate vehicle heights of up to 2.05m. Parking space widths of 2.30m to 2.70m are available.

WOHR offers user-friendly operation of the Combilift through various operating concepts. Safe use is a particular priority. The standard Combilift system is operated using an RFID-chip as an operating device.

Wohr Combilift Series

The Combilift puzzle car parking system is designed for optimal usability and, in addition to high levels of functionality and availability, now offers different configurations to make parking even more convenient.

Combilift 551: The Combilift 551 has two parking levels without a pit, for independent parking. By lifting and sliding the parking platforms, all parking spaces can be accessed directly from the entrance level. There is always one empty space at the entrance level.

A smart design where entrance level platforms move laterally and upper level platforms move vertically. To bring down upper platform for parking in or out, the platforms at the entrance level will first move to one side to provide an empty space into which the required platform is lowered.

Combilift 552: If additional depth is available, the Combilift 552 can be added as an extra parking row in front of the Combilift 551, 542, or 543. Up to three Combilifts can be arranged behind one another.

Parking spaces are requested using a central operating device. Spaces which are in the way automatically slide to the side, allowing users to drive into the selected parking space.

A smart combination is to put in Combilift 551 / Combilift 543 system behind Combilift 552. Empty space in the first row will be positioned in such a way that it is possible to drive through to reach the selected space, located in the rear row.

Combilift 542: The Combilift 542 is a pit puzzleparking system that provides independent parking on 2 levels above each other, suitable for when headroom is restricted. With a clearance height of only 2.20m required (clearance height for SUVs on both parking levels 2.30m) this parking system can be built into conventionally sized underground car parks.

This system always has one platform less at the entrance level. When requesting a lower level platform, the upper level platforms will move laterally until there is an empty space into which the appropriate platform is raised.

Combilift 543: The Combilift 543 is a compact and space-saving parking system on three vertically stacked levels. The entry is always at the middle level. The user selects his place via operating panel.

Vehicles enter and exit at the middle level. Up to ten grids can be arranged beside one another and operated by means of a single operating device. As with all Combilifts, parking spaces in the Combilift 543 can also be selected using an RFID, handheld transmitter or the WOHR Smart-Parking-App.

Safety Gates

For its puzzle car parking systems India, WOHR recommends safety gates to ensure protection against theft and vandalism, and prevent possible accidents caused by people entering the system or drivers entering the space before the vacant platform is in place.

In order to meet its customers’ individual requirements, WOHR offers a variety of safety doors for the Combilifts, ranging from metal sheet, perforated metal, metal mesh doors or rolling shutters.

WOHR hasn’t just focused on an appealing design, but also on the functionality of the safety doors. For instance, materials and processing techniques that maximize the life of the doors and the safe parking of vehicles have been used. In the standard system, doors are operated manually. However, doors with an optional electric drive are also available.
