Puzzle Parking Systems from Wohr

Wohr’s diverse range of puzzle parking systems is a success story going back decades. Wohr’s first puzzle car parking system - the Combilift - was installed in 1988, and the technology has been continually optimized and developed over the years.

Operating Concepts of the Combilift Series

The Combilift system from Wohr is a semi-automatic, space-saving puzzle car parking system that allows for convenient parking in the tightest of spaces by stacking vehicles and moving them closer together.

The entire Combilift range supports vehicles of up to 2.6 tonnes. The Combilift system can accommodate vehicle heights of up to 2.05m depending on the system configuration. It also has options for parking widths of between 2.30m to 2.70m.

Wohr has designed several operating concepts that offer user-friendly operations. The safety aspect is a notable priority. The operations for the standard Combilift system are done by using RFID chips as operating devices.

The Combilift Series from Wohr

The Combilift systems are puzzle car parking systems that are designed for consummate usability. This series has high levels of functionality and now offers configurations that make parking even more convenient.

Combilift 551: The Combilift 551 is designed with two parking levels without a pit and permits independent parking. All parking spaces can be accessed directly from the entrance level by lifting and sliding the parking platforms. There always remains one empty parking space at the entrance level.

This system incorporates an astute design in which the entrance level platforms move laterally and upper-level platforms move vertically. When bringing down the upper platforms for parking in or out, the entrance level platforms are first moved to one side to provide an empty space into which the pertinent upper platform is lowered.

Combilift 552: The Combilift 552 series can be added as an extra row of parking spaces in front of the Combilift 551, 542, or 543 if additional depth is available. Up to 3 Combilift systems can be installed one behind another.

A central operating device is used to request for parking spaces. The spaces that are in the way can automatically slide to the side, allowing users to drive into the selected parking space.

Combilift 542: A pit puzzle parking system that allows for independent parking on 2 levels above one another, the Combilift 542 is ideal for when headroom is restricted. This system requires a clearance height of just 2.20m for sedans and 2.30m for SUVs which permits it to be built into typically sized underground car parks.

The Combilift 542 always has one less platform at the entrance level. When a lower platform is requested, the upper platforms will move laterally until there is an empty space into which the requested platform is raised.

Combilift 543: This parking system from Wohr is compact and space-saving and has three vertically stacked levels. The entry is always at the middle level. The parking position is selected via an operating panel.

Vehicles enter and exit at the middle level and up to ten grids can be installed beside one another and can be operated using a single operating device. As with the whole Combilift series, parking spaces can be selected using an RFID chip, handheld transmitter or Wohr’s Smart Parking App.
