Puzzle Parking with Wohr Combilift Series

Wohr possesses a wide range of puzzle parking solutions, celebrating a success story that extends back decades. Wohr installed its very first Combilift puzzle car parking system in 1988, and the technology has been continuously optimised and developed keeping pace with the latest technical progress made in recent decades.

 Operating Concepts

The Combilift series from Wohr is a semi-automatic, space-multiplying puzzle car parking system that offers convenient parking in the tightest of spaces by utilising the principle of stacking vehicles and moving them closer together.

The entire Combilifit series is available for vehicle weights up to 2.6t. The Combilift series can accommodate vehicles up to a height of 2.05m depending on the system configuration. The width of the parking space can be between 2.30m to 2.70m.

Wohr also facilitates the user-friendly operation of the Combilift through a number of easy operating concepts. The safety of the system is a particular priority. The Combilift works with an RFID chip as an operating device.

Wohr Combilift Series

Wohr’s Combilift puzzle parking system has been designed for efficient usability, high levels of functionality and ample availability. It comes in numerous configurations now in order to make parking even more convenient.

Combilift 551: This multi level car parking system from Wohr offers two parking levels without a pit and provides independent parking. The lifting and sliding of the parking platforms allow all parking spaces to be accessed right from the entrance level. There always remains one empty space at the entrance level.

This is a smart car parking system wherein entrance level platforms move laterally and those on upper levels move vertically. When bringing down the upper platform for parking, the entrance level platforms will move to one side to provide an empty space into which the desired platform is lowered.

Combilift 552: When there is additional depth available, the Combilift 552 multi level parking system can be installed to add an extra parking row in front of the Combilift 551, 542 or 543. Up to three units of the Combilift can be arranged one behind the other.

Parking spaces are summoned using a central operating device. Spaces that are in the way of the desired space automatically slide to the side, allowing users to park in the selected space.

Combilift 542: This is a pit puzzle parking system that offers independent parking on 2 levels above one another, and is ideal for when headroom is limited. This system needs a clearance height of only 2.20 m as a result of which, it can be built into regularly sized underground parking areas.

Combilift 543: This is a compact, space-efficient smart parking system with three vertically stacked levels, with the entry always at the middle level. An operating panel is used to select the desired parking space.

Vehicles make their entry and exit at the middle level. It allows up to 10 grids to be placed next to each other and is operated with a single operating device. The system can be operated using an RFID tag, handheld transmitter or the Wohr smart-parking app.

Safety Gates

Wohr recommends using safety gates to safeguard against incidents of theft or vandalism and prevent accidents caused by people loitering within the system or drivers trying to park before the platform is in place.

Wohr offers a range of safety doors for its Combilift series in order to meet the individual requirements of its customers - ranging from metal sheet, perforated metal, and metal mesh doors to rolling shutters.

With these doors, Wohr hasn’t just focused on appealing design, but also on their functionality. The materials and processing methods used maximize the life of the doors and ensure the safe parking of vehicles. The standard doors offered are operated manually. Doors with optional electric drives available as well.
